Come join us for a WEEKLY SLOW SPEED JAM

Imagine getting to play your old favorites and learn NEW SONGS at a moderated slow speed jam every week. Tabs will be provided for each instrument and the parts will be demonstrated. More than simply a jam, you will be taught jam etiquette and how to REALLY play with others. Ask all the questions you want. Learn about the history, musical structure and more subtle aspects of Bluegrass through listening sessions. Nothing will improve your playing more than regular jamming in a structured social setting, with others of your own ability.

JAM SCHOOL will be held on a permanent and continuous weekly basis, so students can attend whenever they have the time. Led by an experienced jammer and instructor, you will soon be ready to join the pickers at the next festival.

Two-time winners of the Orange County Music Award for Best Folk Band, this dynamic ensemble presents Celtic Folk with a decidedly bluegrass attitude. Using fiddle, acoustic guitar, electric bass, and percussion, Sligo Rags is taking the local and not-so-local Celtic music scene by storm. Their debut studio recording, "The Night Before the Morning After", currently garnering international airplay, was called "the best I've heard from a stateside band" by Celtic Beat Magazine.
